KDCK-25A series CNC lathes are two axis controlled CNC lathes. They are of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic (or pneumatic) integrated construction controlled by FANUC 0i MATE TD system.
The machine has the advantage of simple structure, stable performance and reliable operation. It is suitable for machining of axial parts or disk parts, especially those with complicated shape and high precision requirement. By means of the perfect functions of the control, it can perform turning jobs including internal and external cylindrical surfaces, tapers, arcs, and different threads.
The angle of slant bed is 30 degrees. This offers the advantage of sufficient operation space and easy chip removal. The integrated bed gives high rigidity and high anti-deform property to the machine performance. Both X and Z axes adopt high precision preloaded roller guide ways and German ball screws. Their friction coefficient is small. They are wear-resistant and favorable for raising rapid feed and prolonging service life.
This machine adopts inverter effected motor to realize variable speed. Through multi-wedge belt, the motor drives the spindle directly. Since there is no gear transmission, the drive is stable and with lower noise. The front spindle support adopts a double row roller bearing and 2 double thrust angular contact ball bearings to bear both radial and axial forces. The rear spindle support adopts a double row roller bearing to bear radial forces. With this kind of structure, when the machine runs at a high speed the spindle temperature rise is lower and the spindle keeps balance between front and rear heat expansions.
